Level 34 : Artisan Creeper Hugger

Part 1: Observing the Scenario

What does Minecraft lack? To me this question seemed simple. Minecraft lacked spring shoes, and jetpacks. It lacked cheeseburgers, volcano biomes, and countless other things. But then one day I realized not to think about what Minecraft LACKS, but what Minecraft NEEDS. Today we Minecrafters seem to have everything, and we only fill our time with more pointless updates. My idea would involve going back to the roots Minecraft was created on. I would make this game more realistic.

Part 2: Crafting Ideas

I realized as I continued on that Minecraft was losing realism. What this game needed was an add-on to its base, its very core. I searched Minecraft Wiki for a clue on how to solve this growing problem. My hard work was rewarded when soon, under the section o Upcoming Featureso , I found that a feature stated by Mojang to be added would be stacking snow. Snow. What could be done about it? Snow is something only found in certain biomes and limited to the occasional drift. How could I add a more realistic effect to this common annoyance? I decided to compare Minecraft snow to the most realistic source. Real snow.

- Real snow can theoretically be anywhere as long as the conditions are right

o 32 Degrees

o A Form of Precipitation

Since MC already has a form of precipitation I saw it was clearly lacking a temperature system. My MC idea is to improve and add realism to weather. Imagine climbing the tallest mountain and building a snow man. What would really happen if you dived into ice cold water? Minecraft needed this added.

Part 3: Adding On To the Idea

- What is in this modification?

o Taller Mountains, more o world likeo landmarks

o I o snow lineo where tempuature would drop

§ This would allow snow to stack on high mountains

o Stacking Snow. Snow would pile up until eventually a snow block (Crafted normally with four snowballs this would take 4 o piles of snowo

o Consequences for exposing to the cold without armor (Being in ice water will drain your air faster)

o A way to measure temperature in air and water

Part 4: Developing a Final Solution

I feel this modification would contribute more to Minecraft than a pointless add on. This modification would add a more realistic effect to the very roots of Minecraft and further make Minecraft a virtual reality.
