Hello!
If you have wanted a full hair shading tutorial, here it is!
I used the PMC Skin 3D Advanced edition for this!
1. Layout your color palette. If you can't think of a palette, go to Coolors or Random Hex Generator.

2. Turn Mirror onto 'through'. Then take your darkest color and make two 'u' shapes like so.

3. Keep Mirror on and add two long 'C' shapes on the sides and pixels on the tips of the above shapes
with the next lighter color.

4. Take the middle color and add eight pixels like so.

5. Add four more pixels on top of the last ones, as well as a 'C' in the middle.

6. Take the lightest color and fill in the white spots.

7. Use the square set to '16' and clone the above section. Paste the cloned image onto the
other sides using the clipboard.
The head should look like this on all sides except top and bottom.

8. Now use white or whatever the base color/ skin tone (Mine was white)
is for you and color this area in.

9. Use white and black to fill in the shape of the eyes.

Time for the top and bottom.
10. Turn off mirror mode and place four 'u' shapes like this wit your darkest color.

11. Use the second color and add 'L' shapes in the corners.

12. Take your next color and add pixels in the outer white parts.

13. Use the last two colors and shade in the same way as circular shading.

14. Copy and paste this to the bottom of the head.
15. Use your base/ skin color and fill in this shape.

BANGS:
1. Clone the side of the head. Erase parts of it so it looks like this:

The head is done!
Now for the basic long hair.
1. Make the same 'u' shapes on the front of the torso, one pixel longer, with
Mirror set to 'through' in your darkest color.

2. Now follow steps 2-6, elongating the parts by one pixel, or place them like the image below.

3. Go up to the top of the torso and turn off Mirror. Take your darkest color and
make a square in the middle.

4. Take your next darkest color and make two 'c' shapes.

5. Use the middle color and fill in the outer white areas.

6. Then fill in the middle white part with your last color.

Use your base/ skin color and shape out the hair! This is how I do it.
FRONT:
