Hello, I am here today with another server tutorial. This tutorial is on "how do you know if your server is the best." So first off you have a server right? So it's Ether hosted or from your computer and port forwarded. Usually hamachi servers are good but do not get as much people (in my opnion). So you have a few basic plugins or your server is a big server with over 15-25 plugins. Make sure these 15-20 plugins are not slowing down your server. Usually plugins such as world guard take up a lot of space or CPU. If you have a 1gb or 1040 mb server it should run fine. Now if players come and go this means your server is not ready or needs improvement, this also means that people are not liking your server. I recommend having ranks set up, a website, and essentials plugin. These are the main cores of the server. Essentials is a plugin that allows you to do commands that a server needs. Ok so you have your server set up but people are not comming on. This is because you need to advertise. People are not just going to come on your server. They need a way of finding it. So here goes to another part. A server banner. I you go to forums on planet minecraft and go to shops and requests sub forum they have banner shops everywhere. They might cost some money. Unless you know how to do it yourself ask one of those people. Once you have a banner you need to put in the title. Make it stand out. I see a lot of servers say examplecraft. Make your server uneique. Make it not say something crafts make it say example legacy or example network. These make the server look pro. In the body / main description put features of the server. Put if it is factions or towny or kingdoms or pvp. People are going to be looking for this. Anyways this is not what my blog is about. If you know your server is getting good players and have a good staff you are fine.
