All people on Planet Minecraft must be playing Minecraft. However there are many things we do wrong! Let's discuss those and see what we can do to not to perform these mistakes.

1. Using Furnaces

Every Minecraft must have used, or using furnaces. But what if I told you another alternative that requires no fuel as well easy to craft and better than furnace in every way. If you guessed, it is campfires! They can cook 4 food at once without any fuel, only requires flint and steel. Campfires can also be used as a decorative item. It can also be used to make cool bridges.

2. Creating Over Ground Bases

At the middle stage of the game, we usually build a base, decorate it and store our goods. But it has it's own cons. About 80-90% of players are non-veteran builders. Over time, the upgraded bases made by us will look like trash. Because as we get more loot, we expand our base more. Usually those additions are very incompatible with the previous designs of house. Whereas no one would look at the architecture of underground bases as they are not visible. Simply we can extend our base to unlimited lengths.

3. Keeping valuables in very secret places

As we keep valuables in secret places, we can forget where we kept them. Instead, we should build them in a place where it is not visible to the eye. The wall hiding trick and barrel under the bed trick can be used. For chests or other valuables, we can store them in other dimensions like the nether.

4. Sticking to one place having made a base

It is the most common mistake we make in the early game. First we should use speedrunning tactics to complete Minecraft. And we should usually look for mushroom fields or flat surfaces over mountains. Both are very rare in versions after 1.17.1, as we see a terrain change in 1.18.1 which will continue. The reason for this is mushroom biomes don't have hostile mobs underground or over ground. We can technically only die from lava or fall damage. However, it's too rare to find the biome and an alternative are the high mountain biomes which spawn with much lesser mobs. These places are common but they are the only place other than mushroom biomes to generate no to little hostile mobs.
