Inspiration is always needed when making builds, especially if you are part of a group or team.
I always find that before building I need to browse around cool adventure maps to get my creativity going, YouTube is a brilliant source of information.
Being part of a group myself I know how hard it is to co-operate between each other to get the best out of your builds as a group. The best way to start building is to just experiment with different techniques, this helps give a unique look to your builds and creates depth.
Never leave large walls bear. When creating a large building like a castle or a chapel it is always important not to leave the larger walls flat/bear. Leaving walls flat can make your builds look boring and overall "nooby", always add texture.
If you are creating bigger builds in a group it makes it easier if you break everyone's jobs down, for example one person builds the towers and another person builds the walls. Doing this makes it allot easier and quicker to make builds.
Thank you for reading my first short blog :)
