intro

happy new year everyone! i didn't make a mos post last week but to be fair it was the day after christmas, i had other things i wanted to do. i'm... also running out of mods i can really talk about, a lot of mods i can't really give an in depth review for since they're pretty simple. so! suggestions for mods would be great :] anyways lets get into this

what is projecte?

projecte is a remake of equivalent exchange 2 and allows you to change pretty much any items into a different one via the use of the philosopher's stone. the mod also adds an emc value to pretty much every item so you can use any items you have lying around to get started.

likes

it's usefulness

lots of mods are only helpful for progressing further in it's own mod, which is perfectly fine, but i appreciate that projecte is useful with progression in tons of mods and also vanilla play since it allows you to transmute items into other ones. it also isn't too hard to get started since the philosopher's stone isn't too expensive to make, the hardest material being a diamond, and you can do a lot with just that. i have had plenty of playthroughs where even if i didn't get to invested in the full mod i still ended up making a philosopher's stone just to say turn a sapling into a different one i couldn't find.

dislikes

it's complicated

if you're not a fan of complicated machinery mods then this mod isn't really for you. while it isn't as complicated as some mods since the level of entry isn't too high, it still requires for a lot of machines to be pieced together to fully get into this mod. the machines are bigger as well so lots of space is required. of course, the mod is still fun is you're willing to read up a bit but also the mod doesn't have an in game guide as far as i could tell, but i could very well be wrong, some of the mod packs i play can be glitchy for showing how to make guides.

final thoughts

projecte is a fun mod if a little complicated if you aren't a fan of machinery mods. the mod itself can be overpowered if you know how to use it as well so keep that in mind. either way it's a cool mod to check out!
