Map Improvements

Tired of building Square Houses?
Do you want an original Idea?
Do you think people will post Negative Reviews?
Well,look no Further! This article is here for YOU!!!!

So,let's start off with a few basic concepts!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Basics
So,first off the bat,you want to make sure your building is
able to be improved. Give others something to IMPROVE!
I plan on giving a few examples later in this
article,but right now,this is the Base!
Now,if you want to make improvements,try to get a friend who is
Build-Savvy or get some opinions from here. Don't be afraid to ask for help,but don't beg or message people who don't care. Your builds WILL look nice,even if haters
hate.
So,the second step is to wait for improvements. If someone requests to help,just give them the map to work on. They will NOT take the map for themselves,but if they do,flag it. Also, you may want to give them credit for the map. Otherwise,they can flag it :P
So,after all the Main Bases are done,then you may think you're done! Well,you're not
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Details
Now,people who request to help could be one of two people. They could be one of the Greatest Builders of all Time or a person who plays way too much survival. Try and see the person's profile so you know what they are like. Look into their maps,and don't rush yours. Your map WILL be great,but there will be copiers and haters.

So,if they are the Greatest Builders of All Time,try giving them a more complex job. Give them jobs like editing Roofs,terraforming,Coding even if you have a server. Usually they will not take it for free or they will request you to do something for them. Try and soften them up by:Reviewing their server,Commenting on their maps,Subscribing,or even try and ask them if you can use one of their models. This WILL soften them up, and most likely get you someone to help you for free

What if they are people who play TOO MUCH SURVIVAL? Well,you are going to probably reject them. Most People who play TOO MUCH SURVIVAL tend to Steal Work,ask if they can help you with redstone even though they are terrible, don't play multiplayer so expect yourself to have low expectations,or they are just terrible builders. There is a middle level of that,and that is usually the Good Builders too. Just be careful that they aren't griefers and have low/medium expectations from them. They are most likely average if they created an account.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Reputation and How to Earn it
So we have how to get people to work for you and what their expectations are. We also have the Basics of how to start one of these maps. So,now how will you get the word out? If you're a good builder and have fans,you can skip this section,but if you're not,here are some ways to earn a Rep
Earn Respect. Critic people's review NICELY and try to ask people to request. This could be done through messages. However,do not copy and paste the message! This will make your reputation drop like a fly. Instead,try to ask your friends. They can Spread the word,etc. Also,don't negatively comment if you know you can't do any better. If you do,they WILL look at your profile
Go to your Friends! They will help you (If they are your friends)! Friends are there for you. Even if they don't like Minecraft,ask them for the opinion on the map! They will be honest. Well,if it's your enemy that is.
Spam. This is the worst way to earn a reputation. Don't do this! This will get you muted/banned from PMC anyways
Articles,Reviews,Etc. This is my most favorite way. Get the word out there! Articles are well-written while Reviews could be anything from good ones to the most hated items on PMC!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Actually Starting the Map
Well,if you own a server, this may be a problem. You risk being griefed,humiliated,or stolen. If you do use a server,invite only the people you TRUST! If you are building something,then you are probably going to need people to be OPPED! If you don't,then look at the one below

If you don't own a server,then just give the map to someone. Let them download,improve,and send it back. See the map. If it is improved,then give credit in DESC. and put up a new download with new screenshots. This is the Safest but the least coordinated way to improve a map. You will not be able to communicate and it will NOT work!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Final Copy
When you are officially done with improvements,put your status at 100%. If you aren't,don't bother 100%. Now,this will be official. You may not change your concept of your map,only add onto it. Try to only improve little by little as if you make a too big of a step,you will need to create a new project! That's really it to be honest. Not that hard,just be cool and calm.
Thanks,
