This is a new blog series that thought I up, It is about Minecraft updates/patches. I will talk about every update/patch, and where I think they will go, and what I think they will do. I hope you enjoy the many blog posts to come!
Since i have missed a lot of coverage on 1.2.6, or 1.3.1, whatever Mojang will call it, i will put it into parts until finish the huge load of updates, I will simply be going down the list of them.
First matter of business is Demo-mode. Demo-mode is for non-premium accounts. I couldn't get a lot of information on this subject, but what i think it will do is give people who made accounts the ability to play a demo-version of Minecraft, instead of that limited world where all you can do is build. As to the details of the Demo itself, I would say it is a good guess that it is normal Minecraft but on a timer, and when said timer ends, the demo ends. What this will do for Minecraft itself is encourage people who are unsure whether or not to buy the game to do so.
Next matter is the Creative mode changes, This is a big update, for it makes getting items in creative mode SO much easier. Basically, each item is put into a section, for example: Building blocks, Food stuffs (yes thats what Mojang called the food section) Miscellaneous, and more. Also added is the search bar, where you type in the item you are looking for, and it narrows it down for you. And even more things added added is the survival option, what this does is shows you what you currently have in your survival inventory, so you can take things in and out, and FINALLY put armor on in creative mode. And lastly, new blocks and items added, two things to be exact. Theses items are: Ender Portal Frames (FINALLY) and Potions (FINALLY) So now you can build things with Ender Portal Frames, and get potions out of creative mode! What this will do its make building and finding usefully items so much easier, and make Minecraft so much more enjoyable!
