Shading. Considered by many one of the most important aspects on a skin or even on a texture pack or pixel art. Is it possible do skin without then? Is it possible for Minimalism to stand up without it?
If you by chance already read my very first blog post [The Simplistic Manifesto] you might already know that, but those of you who haven’t: I have a really big problem with realism, I HATE IT! Basically my point is that if we’re all playing this game to take some fell breaks from our overwhelming reality why do we persist on trying to make those different universes [Minecraft’s and Real Life’s] look equal?
Then you come with the shading… For me, the point with that all is that’s not true, those shadows are not “areas where light from a light source is obstructed by an object” [as Wikipedia says].They’re only darker and light colors. The only shadows Minecraft got are the ones just below the mobs, that’s the truth…
All in all, that’s minimalism. Minimalism is to believe in Minecraft reality and not in our one. For me, Minimalism is truth.
Emphasizing: I'm not saying shading is a problem or a error, I'm just trying to explain that there's no problem on not to shade.

So, I’d like to end this article with a little challenge for you guys. Go take a look at my Minimalistic Skins Collection and check some other characteristics of this style out. Then produce a Minimalistic skin of yourself and post it with the titles #minimizeyourself, let’s try to make it a big project…
So I think that's it guys, I didn’t wanted to bore you guys to death. Be sure to check my other submissions out and to give some feedback on that if you can. Diamond and Subscribe! Thank y'all for reading and enjoy!
