This is a Minecraft mob guide for people to read.

It shows all mobs and will be updated for future mobs.

MOBS:
Mobs are characters/entities in MineCraft that move around like yourself.

When you kill a mob they drop orbs called exp which adds to your exp bar but they arnt a real item.

Here's a guide to them:

Hostiles:
Hostile mobs try to kill you no matter what.
Here's a list of them:

Creeper:
Creepers are mobs in the game that have four legs,no arms, and they are green.

They are walking bombs so they explode so watch out for them.
They drop gunpowder and a strategy to defeat them is by using a sword and keep hitting them until they die but keep your distance. They also drop a music disc (Either cat or 13) when killed by a skeleton.(Sometimes.)

Skeleton:
These mobs are archers and they will shoot any player that gets near them or anything that attacks them *Another mob.*
You'll have to dodge their arrows and hit them or snipe them from a far.
They are bony. They drop bones, arrows, and rarely a bow on death.

Zombie:
These mobs are of the undead and they will hurt you only if it touches you.
These are one of the easiest to fight so they shouldn't be much of a problem unless you're really new to the game.
They used to drop feathers but now they don't.They drop rotten flesh and rarely an iron ingot, iron helmet, iron shovel, and iron sword.

Spider (Hostile):
These mobs are big spiders that are able to climb things.
They are also one of the easiest mobs to fight. They are only hostile in the dark.
They drop spider eyes and string on death.

Cave Spider:
These mobs only spawn from a spawner block inside abandoned mineshafts near some cobwebs.
They are more harmful then their brownish brothers and they are smaller and venomous.
They can poison you if they hurt you.
They drop string and spider eyes on death.

Ender Dragon:
This mob is a boss mob that spawns in the end.
It is the hardest to fight and its health regens if an end crystal's beam is hitting it.
The strategy is to have a lot of arrows and a bow and a diamond sword to hurt this mob and destroy all of the crystals. They drop nothing but 100s of exp on death.

Ghast:
This is one of the mobs that spawn in the nether and is one of the largest mobs.
It shoots fireballs that explode at you.It flies around too.
The strategy to fight it is to wait until its close enough to hit it or keep shooting it with your bow.
You can also hit their fireballs back at them.
They drop ghast tears and gunpowder on death.

Magma Cube:
The magma cube is another mob that spawns in the nether. It hops around trying to get to you.
If you kill the magma cube at its biggest size more magma cubes will appear until you defeat each of them until they're the smallest size. They sometimes drop Magma Cream on death.

Blaze:
Another nether mob. This one spawns from a spawner inside nether fortresses.
They fly around and shoot fireballs at you.Their fireballs don't explode but if they hit you you'll catch on fire.
The strategies suggested is to keep shooting it with a bow from far away, throw snowballs at it,or pour water on it from overhead.
They drop blaze rods on death.

Slime:
These mobs will hop around and they spawn very rarely in certain places underground.
They are very easy to kill. They split up like with magma cubes but you have to use either a sword or a fist. They drop slimeballs on death.

Silver Fish:
These mobs spawn from certain blocks you break in strongholds and also a silverfish spawner in one of the stronghold's rooms.
They're smaller than other mobs and they are easy but if you keep hitting them more will soon come. They drop nothing on death.

Spider Jockey:
These mobs are actually just two mobs combined. They spawn REALLY rarely than all others.
They're basicly just skeletons riding spiders.

Neutrals:
Neutral mobs only attack you if you attack them first *For endermen you can do that or look at them.*
Here's a list of them:

Zombie Pigman:
These are mobs that spawn in the nether. They hold gold swords and will try to kill you but only if you attack them first. If you hit one in a pack all of them will come after you. They drop rotten flesh, gold nuggets, and rarely gold ingots,a golden helmet, and a golden sword. They used to drop cooked porkchop.

Spider (Neutral):
When spiders are neutral they wont hurt you unless you attack them.
They will only be neutral in really bright areas or in daylight. They drop spider eyes and string on death.

EnderMan:
These mobs are tall black figures that pick certain blocks up.They will be passive until you look at them or hurt them.

When you look at them they will turn and stare at you until you look away and then they will come after you until you look at them again.*Look directly at them.*
Water, rain, and snow (Snow weather) also hurts them.
They drop enderpearls on death.

Wolf:
These mobs act like dogs and they will kill sheep sometimes. They are neutral until you attack them. You can also tame them by feeding them a bone or more then they can fight for you if you attack a mob first and if you attack them while tame they wont attack you. They drop nothing on death.

Passives:
Passive mobs never try to kill you and they run away when hurt. *The squid doesn't run or go away though.*
Here's a list of them:

Cow:
These mobs wont hurt you and actually no passive mob will.Cows drop beef and leather when killed.
You can milk them to get milk with a bucket.

Pig:
These mobs run away like any other passive mob would if attacked. They drop raw porkchops when killed.

Sheep:
Sheep are the animals wolves hunt.Sheep will come in different colors naturally (White, grey, dark grey, brown, black, pink). The rarest to spawn is a pink sheep. You can dye them different colors. They drop 1 wool when killed and more wool if sheared. *Which doesn't kill them*

Squid:
These mobs spawn in water. They drop ink sacs when killed.

Villager:
These mobs are like weird looking humans that some people like to call Squidwards because of their big noses.
They drop nothing when killed and spawn inside NPC Villages.

Chicken:
These feathery mobs are smaller than other passive mobs.If they start falling off a cliff they start flapping their wings to glide down to prevent dying. They drop raw chicken and feathers when killed.

MooShroom:
These weird red cows spawn in mushroom biomes which are the rarest of all biomes.
You can shear them to get red mushrooms.
They drop raw beef, leather, and red mushrooms if killed. If you milk them with a bowl you get mushroom stew and milk if you milk them with a bucket.

Ocelot:
Ocelots have spots on them and run around through a jungle biome. They only spawn in a jungle biome.
If you get near them they might run away unless you sneak up on them slowly. If you hold raw fish the ocelot will come to you and you can tame it by feeding it the fish.(Turn slowly or it will run away.It may also take more than one fish to tame.)They also scare creepers. They drop nothing on death.

Cat:
Cats are tamed Ocelots. They will have a different texture than the ocelot texture.
The textures are tabby, tuxedo, and siamese.
They may run around and don't run away from you since they are tamed. If you right-click them they will sit then and stand up if you right-click then again. They also scare creepers. They drop nothing on death.

Utility Mobs:
Utility mobs are made by the player.
Here is a list:

Snow Golem:
These mobs are made by the player with 2 snow blocks and a pumpkin or jack'o'lantern on top.
They throw snow balls at hostile mobs and since snow balls don't really hurt anything it gives them a suicidal nature.
They drop snowballs when killed.

Iron Golem:
These mobs are created by using 4 iron blocks and a pumpkin or jack,o,lantern on top of the middle.
You placed the iron blocks by placing one down, then one on top, then 1 on both sides of the top block, then placing a pumpkin on the top block.
They also spawn in villages. They may give villager children roses and defend the villagers by killing monsters.
It will try to kill you if you hit it.They drop roses and iron ingots on death.

Unused:
Unused mobs are mobs that used to be in the game but arn't anymore but still in the code.
They can only be spawned with mods. There's only one now.
Here it is:

Giant:
Giants don't spawn naturally and you need mods in order to spawn them.
They don't drop anything on death and they are really large versions of zombies.

Removed:
Removed mobs are mobs that have been removed from the game and it's coding and can't be spawned with mods unless the mod adds it again. There's 5:

Human:
Humans were once able to be spawned with mods but they would hurt you but now they cant because they were removed from the coding.
The only humans now are you and people in multi-player.
They dropped nothing on death.A long time ago before beta or so they could be spawned by using the G button.

Beast Boy:
Beast Boy is one of the 4 human mobs in Minecraft Indev.
It was actually a humanoid mob and dropped string, feathers, gunpowder, and flint-and-steel on death.
It was removed when one of Mojang's artists,Dock, quit.

Black Steve:
Black Steve was one of the 4 human mobs in Indev.
It dropped string, gunpowder, feathers, and flint-and-steel on death.

Nice job with the blog:P

Did you get your Minecraft account back?

You left out monsters in unused (I think I'm not sure if they are still there or not)
