how bout if you could get experience orbs from mining and digging etc.
eg. if you mine an iron/ coal ore you get 1-3 orb/s
if you mine a lapiz/ redstone ore you get 4-6 orbs
and if you mine a gold/ diamond ore you get 7-10 orbs
maybe change the how many orbs you get and see how it works.
Also if your tool breaks you get orbs for it. (basically for using it)
eg. wooden tools: 1 orb
cobblestone tools: 2 orbs
iron tools: 3
gold tools: 3
diamond tools: 4
and if the tool is enchanted you get get more ores added on (diamond tools: 4+ enchantment= 6
probably change how much you get for everything.
