Told me, ok, one more click and I quit ... I read up the entries titles and paid attention to chosen presentation image, nicks, and ended up on you, like ok, let's give this one the last try...
My first look went to user level... oh dang it... lvl 3, gonna be a "winner" again...
Then I noticed the font's and I already got a feeling, this could be a good one...
Scrolled down to the bottom how long it is, red up the comments,...
Headed back to the start and started reading.

At some points I catched myself how I read the words and telling me... damn this could be easily an real life guide, from someone who already got thru some things in life probably.
It is not a winner imo, but it was a good time spent on reading.
Evidently an noticeable person you are, not just for the contest.

Have my sub as a recognition for the "bad manner, judging by user level", but definitely not just for that :)
One part of your comment, however, (while I agree with it) I'd like to make sure I can get you to elaborate on. You said: "it is not a winner imo", and (once again) while I agree with that statement, if you could, I think it would help me for you to tell me what made it "not a winner". Was my vocab bad? My flow? A specific sentence or paragraph? Thanks for your praise, and I'd love to (with your critique) make this work and my future creations better. :)
Sounds like a real diary writing, it got that personal feel and look, good jokes, while still keeping to the theme, it was not just some short story, it was not just some list of things what to do and what not, etc.
It is by far not a wrong blog/entry, to be clear enough.
I just try to imagine that in the game, if they would implement it and I would find such book while digging... I'm not sure if that would help me a ton in regards of the survival.
Ofc. there have been good points mentioned, that are really usefull ingame, and in real life! :) ...
To narrow it down, I just think here will be more of such good entries like yours and those gonna be chosen over yours.
For what reason? That's not the point in this question.
I dunno, maybe they will be better in one way or another, maybe they will have something what yours doesn't have - whatever it could/would be, or just simply a matter of personal prefference of judges/players/votes.
I did not read any other entries so I cannot say anything more specific.
Few hints maybe, which I would probably use if I would participate in this contest:
- graphical art (like book pages, or paper scroll, sketches, some ink drops, blood drops, dirty spots)
(check my Vampire skin for ideas)
