It drives me crazy when everytime a noob gets killed, they call their muderer a "hacker"
At first, it's funny, but when people are getting banned without sufficent proof, that's a problem and it needs to be addressed.

It goes like this:
N00B: DecentPvper killed me with their hacks!
DecentPvPer: wut hacks do you think i killed you with?
N00B: Well, you obviously had reach, killaura, and autoclick.
DecentPvPer: ok whatever lol
5 minutes later...
N00B was killed by DecentPvper weilding diamond sword!
N00B: See he killed me again! Obviously hacks!
Iwannabetheverybest: Yep he totally killed me and im god at pvp. Ban him.
JrMod: Can you show me proof?
RandomOtherPlayer: no he cant but fly over and see.
JrMod: ok
After DecentPvper killed another person LEGIT with strafeing techniques...
JrMod: Hmm...
N00B: hes a hacker i know he is
Player: yeah they killed me way too much i cudnt hit them
DecentPvPer: ever hear of potions o-o
JrMod: Nah nondonaters cant get potions legit definantly haxks
DecentPvper has been banned for 2 weeks!

That's another issue I've chosen to dissuss, is an admin's clear bias towards nondonaters. Why is this? I understand that servers need money to run, but guests to a server shouldn't be treated like they're useless. And also, some people just play the game to have fun.

I also know of EULA. This is not a solution. Tons of servers are going to get shut down because of this. I never donate, but I appreciate the donaters all the same. No reason for them to disrespect me though.

What is a hacker? I like to split hackers into three categories: TROLLS, ANGRY PEOPLE, and INNOCENTS.

TROLL:
A troll hacker is someone who enters the server with the clear goal of hacking to make people mad, or to mess with the staff work. They have in their mind the fact that they are going to get banned at some point, and they think it's funny. It's not. These people tend to be obvious with hacks oftentime too, and these people often have multiple accounts that are stolen. They may become angry people after banned.

ANGRY PEOPLE:
Angry People are people who are oftentimes looking for revenge on a server or someone on it. They can accomplish this by having many accounts so when they get banned on one, they move on to the next. Angry People are usually created from hackers just getting mad for getting banned (which they knew was going to happen!!). The other type of angry people though are those just ready to stalk and kill that one person they hate, and they oftentimes aren't banned. If somebody is bothering you, screenshot them and post on your server's website.

INNOCENTS:
These are people who are not actually hackers, but are called one because they are good at the game and people are jealous. Try to never accuse someone of hacks unless your sure!

The point? This whole post was a bit of a rant, but just because someone is good doesn't mean they are using hacks. You wouldn't like it if you were banned for playing a server in the correct way, would you?

One month later: My friend just got banned from a hardcore factions server because one of the doners "didn't like" that he managed to get enough obsidion to make a 5 x 5 obsidian box. Okay moderators... cmon! It's totally fine that someone could spend the time to get that much obsidian. It's not like it's indestructable. Just make a cannon, duh. This blog is for moderators and players alike, DON'T BAN OR ACCUSE SOMEONE OF HACKING WITHOUT LEGIT PROOF. YOU ARE CHASING OUT LEGIT PLAYERS AND TAKING AWAY THEIR ACCESS TO THEIR HARD WORK. YOU MAY EVEN BE MAKING THEM QUIT MINECRAFT... Be a courteous player, remember everyone else you see online on a server is a person too, and most aren't there to ruin your gameplay experience. More gameplay experiences are ruined by moderators banning players who didn't do anything wrong, then the people who are actually breaking the rules. If you are there to troll, fine, I guess, just remember that making people mad never got you anywhere. :)
