The ones where you feel completely lonely, where you find yourself talking to villagers. Hang on, talking to villagers?

Well, interactive GUI have been done, with the most famous example being creativebot (Google it, I don't want to get in trouble if someone messes up the URL and blames me) Here is a screen shot of the idea:

But hang on, there is XX mod, and it even has voice acting.

Yes, yes, I probably know which of the many mods you are talking about, and none of them complete the idea of an offline community. We need builders, we need miners, we need many villagers. Look at how the villagers have professions. A farmer. A doctor. But what do those mean according to the game? They just simply trade us things related to their job. But what if the farmer planted and harvested wheat? How about if the blacksmith helps to fight (creating armour would be really OP unless you gave them the stuff.)

Here is how the idea would work. Upon finding a village, you have to befriend the village mayor (should be implemented). Upon doing that, by right clicking on him you'd gain access to a villager control GUI. However, at first it is blank. No problem, just befriend each villager by giving him stuff related to his trade (sounds almost like dating in harvest moon xD), and over time you can see them in the GUI. You may then choose what they are to do. (Blacksmith: Turn XX iron bars into XX iron pants)
More specific requirements.

Everyone needs a chest to put their stuff they're getting for you in.
You need to give them a ton of stuff, and you can't be cheap about it. (Iron swords, not wooden swords!)
The mayor must be given a few things from every profession.
You must feed the villagers (Put food in their chests I guess)
