Hi all.

I come bearing news, both good and bad.

The bad news is I've canceled the Forever War project due to Minecraft just not being a suitable game to work with for the idea, too many uncontrollable moving parts.

For those curious, I will be publishing some maps on how the project was supposed to work, as well as the early proof-of-concept map I was working on.

Now for the good news.

I have started work on a new The Shaft-like project, TreeLine.

This map will be a similar gameplay experience to The Shaft, albeit with more mechanics added.

The setting for the map will be taking place in an infinite forest, and the Player will encounter many new challenges and NPCs, some familiar, some completely foreign.

Some new challenges may or may not include not falling into dimensional rifts, dealing with creatures capable of mimicking the sounds and appearances of normal humans, and much more.

Many NPC improvements will also be worked on, like NPCs being able to talk to eachother, having more responses to Player inquiries, and taking shelter from daylight or the night.
