The Anti-Double Trident Strategy

After the initial success of the Double Trident Strategy, I thought of making a strategy to counter the Double Trident Strategy. If your friends are spamming the Double Trident Strategy again and again, and you can't beat them, this ought to make them rethink their plan of attack.

-Counter Situational
Fight them at a time and place where there's no water or rain so the only useful enchantments are Loyalty, Impaling and Unbreaking. This will generally weaken them and you can use other PvP strategy to get to them. Just remember that they may switch their strategy too.

-Dehydration
If the enemy is using a small supply of water, destroy it as soon as possible. Scoop it up with a bucket, soak it up with a sponge or turn it into obsidian with lava. Better still, wait for the enemy to be in the water before placing the lava to suffocate them.

-Hello there
Invisibility potions are the best against any enemy. Stock up on a couple and attack the Double Tridenter from all sides while their back is against you. Use enderpearls and other methods to gain the element of surprise and increase enemy confusion.

-Preventation
Even if you have to fight the enemy in a thunderstorm, make sure to reduce damage that they can deal. Shields can be used to stop their ranged tridents while fire resistance potions can neglect burn damage from lightning. If they try to use the High Ground Counterstrike, immediately place some damaging blocks or cobwebs in front of you to stop their Riptide fun.

-Doppelganger
If you're still struggling when using these steps, just use the Double Trident Strategy too! That's the easiest strategy, since if they get advantages from the weather, you do too; If you have an disadvantage, they do too. Easy as that.

-Charm Breaker
The Double Trident Strategy works on and emphasizes speed, confusion and chaos. Toss slowness potions at the enemy and best of all, get a friend. You can flank the enemy together and they'll probably get overwhelmed. Using spectral arrows on the enemy can be useful to get a bearing of them. However, that's only for Java users. So if you're on Bedrock, make sure to hit them with tipped arrows, since the potion particles will give them away more easily. It's not perfect, but it's better than nothing.
