Redstone is like mechanical & electrical contraption in minecraft. You have to use a combination of your building skills and mechanical understanding skills to build redstone.

Some people are gifted and are born to do redstone. Some are still learning (like me) but know quite a few concepts about redstone. And some, just are totally bad at redstone and never want to make redstone projects ever.

Well, to get started with redstone I would recommend some "Tools" for you.
By tools, I mean mods and texture packs.

I use the oCD texture pack created by FVDisco. I don't use it all the time but i use it sometimes when it gets laggy.

There are two main mods that are must haves for redstone creations.
