Hey Guys, Making this blog to cover everything i can about my new series(starting with parlagrim caslte)(srry i always spell caslte wrong, i hit the letters in the wrong order haha)It will follow the progress of the Parlin Empire and its military victorys, trade monopolys, rebellions, wars, allies, disasters, expansion, and, maybe, world domination.Okay so im naming this world Skarn, its the first thing popping into my head so whatever, Its all starting with the Parlagrim Peoples wanting to make an empire, but others may decide to do the same.(im gunna make a make and i have a pretty good idea for that so look for it soon!) This is mostly going to be casltes maybe some boats too and possibly battle grounds. Ill try and get some youtube videos made for it of maybe attacking the castles filled with a mob garrison or something like so ill put links in those projects to stuff like that if i do decide to make them. The year im starting in is 48 RH which is the 48th year of recorded history for Skarn.

CIty's outposts and other things that project power from a country have a small sphere of influence detering other countries from building or entering the sphere alowing one town to dominate many valuable recources sometimes across bodies of water, small ones for a while since most towns are small.





Current Technology level:

Architecture: Medium stone or wooden buildings, bricks are being made for the first time

Weopons: Stone Swords, Bows and Arrows(some advanced swords but not many)

Armor: Leather

Bridges: Scarce, hard to build

Boats: Can carry some wieght, small ocean crossings possible.



Alliances:

OA(Orange Alliance): Parlin Empire+Port Merinere

Religions: (its odd how the some of the same religions appear even in this world)

Cristianity: The early and more cruel kind that allowed and called for execution and crusades.

Sthurin: A cruel religion its god demands weekly sacrifice. Those who worship it are hostile to outsiders.

SHushonack: A god who wants all destroyed, not always the best religion to fallow

History:

The first major event was in the year 48. The Parlins were the first to want to expand and begin attempts to do so in the known world. They built a small wooden castle and made an army. The first combat was later that year when they captured and enslaved all 7 sthurin tribal members and made they train their masons since the sthurins were much better masons than they were. In the last part of that year the Parlins found another town. Pompthin Market. It was a large trading hub that many travelling collectors used to sell their goods. After the parlin army marched through the towns streets, they agreed joining the Parling empire. In the year 49 the Parlins built a boatyard on the river Iotae in attempts to gain more towns for their empire and more lands. When their exploration ship Larquet 1 returned and reported they met 2 hostile villages that seemed to be worshipping the same religion. THey also reported that the river iced over and they had to turn around. About a month later the Parlins attacked destroying both of the villages. They took a few slaves but 43 tribal members were killed along with 8 Parlin soldiers. THe next year, 50, the Larquet 1&2 found a city state named Port Merinere. They also found the Orange Sea and the ending point on the Iotae River. After a few runs back and forth by the Larquets the Marins(People of the CIty State) agreed to become allies of the Parlin Empire. Later that year the Marins gave the Parlins a map of an empire thye discovered years earlier while looking for a trade partner. It only had the colonys on that continent. The Parlins sent a "greeting" party to them but it still hasnt arrived. The next year the Parlins sent out another party since the other one hadnt returned, they came back claiming shushonacks had attacked the other party and all were dead. The Parlins gave up exploration and decided to build up their cities. So thats what they did. In year 53 King Lakimiad, ruler of the Parlin Empire got married. He let here help design one of the major structures in pompthin. A large castle made from stone by the sthurin masons and a large slave work force(the sthurins now gladly live in the Parlin empire after being allowed to worship their own religion) In year 58 they finish the castle. Meanwhile in Port SHikinaki of the Kukohawn empire is raided and destroyed by a tribal raiding party. Contact with the Kukohawns is finally established by the Parlins in year 59 and a map of the Kukohaws explorations is sent(this may take me a while to get together :) It arrives in year 60. The kukohawns also introduced the Parlins to Spices and Faan. Spices can bring in masses of profit but if you really want to go rich Faan is the way to go. Its a drug similar to Heroin and it can bring in big emeralds. The kukohawns even show the parlins a good place to build a fort and use some of the largest Faan deposits known, under the condition they help destroy another more advanced empire that destroyed an early kukohawn colony. the Parlins agree and build The Emerald Fort in the same year. It is finished 2 years later along with a treaty allying the Parlins, Kukohawns, and Marins together, under the name of the Orange Alliance(OA). In years 61-63 the Marins built additions to their harbor including a small naval power of two Sloops, along with 4 trade vessels. During that time the Parlins also founded the colony of Overlook along the Iotae River. A small expidition was sent out to map the mountains to the south of the Iotae where they found a few Shushonack Villages. In year 63, a few ragged, starved, villagers approached Port Merinere. They were met by the city guard but all died before they could speack, except for one, he mentioned Port Kiante. OAS Mary Rose was sent to the Port and was met with a brutal scene. Burnt bodies picked clean by the birds and wolves. It had been attacked by an enemy unkown and blown to peices by creeper dust bombs. The Kukohawns, Desperate, agreed to join the Parlin Empire. In the later part of Year 63, Hardwood was founded by the Parlins as a collection point for agriculture products produced in the area and manufacture them into edible goods.
