The year is 2012 on Minecraftia. Death Row has filled up tremendously in every maximum security prison in the country known as Vareideica, ruled by Team Vareide, on Continent 975-B. They needed a way to control the population of Death Row.
After about 2 days, Team Vareide came up with The Hunger Games, a competition held every 5-7 months (depending on how fast they could build a new arena), where 24 random Death Row inmates would fight to the death until one survived. That prisoner would gain fame, fortune, and their very own tower at the prison they were from, as well as a reduced sentence to life in prison, rather than death. They would also broadcast this competition on YouTube for the world to see. However, they could not use o The Hunger Gameso as a name due to intergalactic copyright laws. So, they came up with something that made sense for a name: The Survival Games.
