This is a pure, from the soul, step into my life and why I made a decision to retire from being a forum moderator for PMC.

I guess I should give you the first hand information and kind of explain why I became a mod in the first place!

I'm Chellizard, better known as Chelle, or "Not Charlizard" to a lot of people, at least, I think so.

I'm a proud member of the Minecraft community and I enjoy building, drawing, and writing. I tried to skin, but I just cannot seem to get into it as much as I want to!

I'm 23 years young, and I've been on PMC for about three years, maybe a little more. That's a long time, if you ask me.

I first joined PMC with the intention to diamond and favorite builds I liked so I could keep track of some of my favorite things. Just like anyone else that joins, really. But, I saw there was a Chat.

I thought, "Whoa, people can just relax in here?" And, my second thought was "They're all probably much younger than me." I was 20 years old when I joined PMC.

So, I joined. First person I met was Charlizard.

He and I had very similar usernames, and I had no idea I wasn't the only Charizard enthusiast. Haha!

So, one hangout session playing Hunger Games lead to another hangout session of gaming, and then I met more and more of the mod team, and just, things kind of kept rolling from there. I met Soup, Snowy, Eeirail, OliverFrenchie, and Avalanche_Ali... and a few others, I think?

As you all know, Snowy and I are quite the odd pair of friends. I do feel as I write this that she and I have drifted in friendship, but I still hold her close to my heart. [Love you, Ash. <3]

As I hung out on the Chat, I met lots of interesting people, and one of those is Jackie1st. She and I worked together building a giant world with her friends for a Minecraft RP Server. Which failed due to reasons I'll leave unsaid... but those awkward encounters of building together lead to a very genuine friendship that I wouldn't trade for the world. Jackie is my waifu, thru and thru... But anyway.

I met Palaeos, too. We bonded over our love of animoo and turtles. I drew him a picture.

I got to meet Azie, and Midnight, and Draco... Just so many people!

Then I met Jesuitical. He and I became friends after a bit of awkward bantering back and forth, and I think he was the one that eventually nominated me for Chat Moderator. I'm pretty sure our talk of Sword Art Online is what struck our friendship chords.

I was honestly surprised I was nominated - seeing as I was only on to leisurely hang out - not really enforce the rules and hand out infractions.

But, hey, it was easy enough!

As soon as I was made a chat moderator, nothing really changed. All that was different was now I had actual things I had to do while I was hanging out in Chat. I had to make sure no one broke the rules, and be as helpful as possible.

I did that for about a year and a half.

A lot of my life outside of PMC has been private, but spending countless hours on this site interfered with some of the things I wish I had put more effort into. But let's not get too sappy/sad about this.

This is meant to be just some kind of explanation. Some kind of story. A reason to let you all know why I ultimately chose to retire, and why I may never return.

So! After my year and a halfish of Chat Moderating, and my constant talk of my own forum/site, I was nominated to become a forum moderator.

And boooyyy was I in for a surprise! Haha.

I handled as many reports as I could. Each day. And it was tough, but I managed to get at least 20 or more a day - for the first two or three weeks I think.

During that time, we acquired a sort-of PMC/MCF Ambassador, Lord_Ralex! He betrayed me by getting promo'd to Site Mod. :(

Back to the main story:

I started slowing down and doing less and less and I was getting more and more busy outside of PMC.

You see, I've finally come to the end of my time in College for my AA Degree of Science in Medical Assisting. I get to work in the real world with physical patients where I take care of them.

It's a job I really enjoy... as much as I love PMC... I just cannot balance it and my real physical responsibilities. There's going to be someone out there better to fill in my spot as a forum moderator and can do what I couldn't.

I just know it. Paril, you'll find someone 100 times better than me, home-slice.

But don't be alarmed. I'll still pop on randomly, and who knows, I may find my schedule even out and I'll be able to come back as a forum mod or something.

It just all depends. C:

And all the people I mentioned, even if we are no longer friends, or no longer talk as much as we use to, you all had an impact on my life and I am grateful to have met every single one of you.
