Advanced Survival [v1.1.0] Minecraft Data Pack
What does Advanced Survival do?
Advanced Survival is a datapack that modifies and adds Recipes, Functions, Advancements, Loot Tables and Tags to improve the player's survival experience while maintaining the classic style of the game.
This datapack also aims to reunify the five datapacks I previously created with changes to make everything functional and compatible. At the moment the reunification is not complete because I first focused on adding new features not present in the previous datapacks, but rest assured because with future updates the reunification will be progressively completed.
Advanced Survival was designed to make the game progression better and more varied (especially the early game) and increase the reward in relation to the difficulty, and it also offers many quality of life improvements.
Among the current features we find new crafting, smithing and smelting recipes with relative advancements and changes to some pre-existing ones, slight changes to the main progression advancements and improvements to the loot tables of some minerals and chests... also when using this datapack be careful not to put your feet on the stonecutter! ;)

DPS: 4.8 Hp (≃ 2½favorite)

Compatibility with Minecraft Versions
Advanced Survival is created for Snapshot 21w19a (and subsequent snapshots).
Most of its features should continue to work in lower (not too lower!) Snapshots.
Some features are absolutely not compatible with 1.16 and lower, but it should still be possible to play them.
It would be very helpful if you wrote me in the comments which compatibility problems you encountered in 1.16 or in some snapshots.

What changed in Tools smelting recipies? Increased XP? Is it possible to increase the amount of nuggets per tool? IMO 50% return is balanced, so Gold Swords would be worth smelting at gold farms.

Doesn't work for 1.17. Data pack doesn't validate, and even when I change the pack.mcmeta's version it gives me an error

The value in the pack.mcmeta file does not determine the concrete compatibility of the datapack (it is just visual). Even if in the datapacks list it tells you that it is incompatible it actually works.
The datapack was created and tested for 1.17.
What error does it give to you? Let's see if we can solve your problem.
