Need Help with Skining

Hy guys Its Dragon and i wanted to ask you guys what is a good free minecraft Skin editor and some tips on making a good skin. i have been Trying to make a DragonSkin But i want it to be different like the others. I wantt to be like a Half teen half Dragon But i cant make it Good to use. i hope you guys can he me and Bye

If you use Windows, use MCSkin3D, that's a program specifically for skins, most 'professional' skinners use it.
If you're on a Mac, SkinEdit is a good alternative, not as good as MCSkin3D but it runs on IOS.
For tutorials, check out this forum-thread, there are a bunch of tuts for all levels, from beginner to pro. Also, check out the profiles of experienced and popular skinners, many of them have written tutorials in which they explain their personal style.
