    Welcome to the world of Whiteburg circa. 1912! We hope you enjoy your stay!

    What is Whiteburg?
    Set in the year 1912, Whiteburg is an English-inspired country created by the youtuber, WBC Builds. The various cities, towns, and villages of Whiteburg feature a variety of different English architectural styles such as those from the Edwardian, Victorian and Georgian periods.

    Since the creation of Whiteburg, the WBC Builds Minecraft Server and Build Team has quickly grown and now hosts several countries and regions that represent realistic architectural styles from Europe and North America in Minecraft.

    This page is a community page for WBC Builds, the WBC Build Team, and the wider WBC Community.

    It’s the perfect place for:
    • Anyone that wants to see fantastic Minecraft builds based on real architecture
    • Anyone who wants to learn more about Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian period architecture and how to replicate it in Minecraft
    • Anyone looking for tips and tricks on how to improve their own Minecraft builds
    What can you expect in the coming months?
    Competitions! There are already several ongoing competitions run on the WBC Builds discord server such as the ‘Weekly Build Challenge’, it is our intention to bring them to Planet Minecraft

    What texture pack does WBC use?
    The texture pack is custom-made and available over on our discord server (invite linked on this page)
    What shaders/ shader settings does WBC use?
    WBC uses the BSL shaders with bloom turned off
    How can I become a builder on the WBC Builds minecraft server?
    To become a builder on the server, an application has to be submitted and reviewed by the Build team. More details on the process can be found over on our discord server (invite linked on this page)
    Are downloads available?
    As the project is ongoing and server-based, downloads are not available by default. Some builders may offer downloads on their own personal PMC pages however this should not be expected by default because of the reasons listed above.
    Can I use your builds for a project?
    Generally we do not allow use of the builds shared here, unless permission is given by the creator of the build. Even then we ask that the original builder is properly credited when their build is recreated.

    As a community we try to encourage creativity and for others to use the techniques demonstrated by the server's work and in WBC's videos to create their own builds. For anyone looking to build in the style we would encourage them to join the discord server which is full to the brim of useful tips and tricks, building resources, and other builders eager to give advice.
