The plugin allows you to change the duration of the days in minecraft.
Use the command:
/minetime [factor]

The factor is normally set to 1. If you increase the factor to 10 for example, the time in will run ten times faster. If you set the factor to 0,1 for example, a day in minecraft will last for about 3 hours in real time.

Oh deer sorry, I'm not much often looking on planet-minecraft anymore, sorry for answering just now :D

Seems like dropbox refactored some stuff, which is why none of my links are working anymore. Just give me some time, I'll try to upload it somewhere else ;)

Yes, there is a way. If you want the day to last for 20 minutes, you have to set the factor to 0,5. That way, the day lasts for 20 minutes and the night lasts for 20 minutes.
You can calculate the factor like this:

factor = 1 / (dayNightTimeInMinutes / 20)

So in your case, dayNightTimeInMinutes is 40, so: 1 / (40 / 20) = 1 / 2 = 0,5

Heyo, Leible. For some reason I experience a strange bug with this plugin. Whenever the time his 0 ticks, it will automatically reset itself to 5:57AM. It only started happening after I installed this plugin, and stops when I delete it.

Great mod! I seek for something like this already for quite some time, especialy since Mojang screwed up the day:night ratio to be 50:50 /tragic


I just wish this would be for Forge too, and w/o bugs :(

Loving this mod!  Having a problem on our server where it stops working sometimes though.  Usually when I reboot the server I need to do it a couple times for this mod to start working.  Also, when someone is in the nether and other people sleep it stops working.  Then sometimes it just stops working randomlly.

When it is not longer working it appears as if the plugin is still there.  /Minetime commands recieve a response that the time was set, however time will run at Vanilla speeds.  The only fix is to restart the server.
