Santa Maria del Fiore, the cathedral in Florence Italy (and Assassin's Creed 2). This is the original project I built in October 2010 with my buddy Marfa on the Shacknews server* which later led to me redoing it in 1:1 full scale. It's been touched up a bit since then (roof made orange wool, aka roof tiles in Steelfeather's pack. also sandstone ceiling instead of wood)

I am putting this version up for download since it is in more typical Minecraft scale (it will fit between sea level and the skybox). It also looks fine with standard texture packs, though I prefer Steelfeather's Assassini~Construttori (Assassincraft/Renaissance) pack, which is used in these screenshots.

*It was incidentally the same server where I built my Galleon and Taj Mahal.
