Hallowentown - Crown Conquest
Hello there! This is my latest project that I've built with my friend Tobbzzen. This project is based upon the game 'Crown Conquest' that Yogscast & Voxelbox came up with. The whole project will be updated with information and better screenshots later! This map was created especially for an event that will occur on the 27 October for Swedish Minecraft Youtubers.
ABOUT
"I'm really bad at explaining my projects so bear with me =D"
The project has taken around 1-2 month(s) to complete. It's built in medieval style and has a Halloween/Spooky theme over it. The town is divided into districts that are separated by lava.
Each district has traps and obstacles that force the player to take certain paths while still allowing some element of freedom. The only way to enter another district is by crossing one of the strategically placed bridges. The Majority of the traps contain splash potions. All of the traps in one particular district contain a single nice potion and a single dangerous one. E.g. a potion of swiftness and a potion of harming, meaning it's generally a 50-50 chance when activating a trap if the players will be harmed or gain a Boost over the competition.
Certain districts have Churches in them, spawn points for the 'Crowns' which teams must collect and return to the end castle. The platform in the End castle is protected by lava allowing only players that possess crowns to reach the platform. Two crowns are allowed per team.
After two minutes of being released from the spawn, PVP becomes enabled, Meaning that the gear is a necessity in order to survive against other players Whilst players themselves search for crowns..
In order to obtain gear the players are forced to enter houses or other buildings themed to the district, in search of chests which contain food, weapons, and other combat gear.

82 Houses (Completely decorated inside, Each house has its own design)
3 Churches (Spawn place for Crowns)
1 Castle ruins (End station)
1 Town hall (spawn station for players/teams)
6 Districts
The terrain was terraformed with WorldEdit & Voxelsniper
All buildings and decorations were made by hand using creative mode.
This map is built alongside a custom texture pack that was created just for this event so It might look weird in if you use the map with a different tecture pack, therefore it's advised to download the same custom Halloween theme.
