UPDATE: World Tour and Download

Hybridcraft is my LP series where I'm trying to make my world as immersive as possible with detail and movement. I take inspiration from the real world and then modify it to fit in the Minecraft environment. I have two primary goals:

1. My never ending goal is to make every block in the game have an origin lore that makes sense in the Minecraft world. This should make the series (and my interest in the game) last as long as Mojang continues to develop it (hopefully forever). This is why my progress will probably always remain at 5%.
2. Learn and incorporate every possible aspect of this amazing game into the series. (i.e. Survival, Creative, Building, Redstone, Commands, Texture Pack Edits, etc).

Here are a few of the things I've done so far to make the world as immersive as possible. Obviously, I recommend checking out the videos I post on my Youtube channel, but realize that isn't for everyone. I'll try to update here with highlights and milestones along the way.

These just a few of the highlights so far...
Check for regular updates and feel free to make suggestions.

P.S. A lot of my builds include movement. So, I've linked to GIFS on here for those who don't want to watch full LP videos.
i.e. Here's a working crane: GIF
It's all about those small movements adding realism and immersion.

I like to share all my builds and incorporate my viewer builds into my world as well. I enjoy modifying existing builds and showing how to get inspiration from others without totally copying them. My buddy McNoodlor donated a couple asian themed builds that inspired my northern isolated Dragoon Monastery.

All the wood in my world has to come from somewhere, right? This is part my big lumber project. I Build a custom river biome height variation that allowed for rapids and waterfalls. Then added a working sawmill powered by a moving waterwheel. It's connected to a logging camp and leveled forest via an old logging bridge and road.

This is a simple fisherman I made across from the sawmill using the skin of a friend and viewer, CoopDizzle. I plan to put more viewers in my world as time goes on. I really enjoy interacting with the community and it's fun to immortalize some of the more active members in my world. I also believe small details like these can truly enrich the game's experience.

I challenged myself to build a nature reserve/ national park on a mountainous flower forest island. It currently has a fishing shack (in picture) trail and cave exploration system, waterfall, and fire watch tower. It's connected to the mainland via a working gondola system. Future plans include an amphitheater, camp ground, beach house and bridge connection.
Island Park

After the above image was take, I added an interactive, rideable gondola/ski lift to transport my character from the mainland to the top of the island.

This fishing shack has an AFK fish and sugarcane farm below it.

My working automated Chicken farm was built by Grotzod of GiantMonsterGames and modified by me to fit my world.

This crypt from a Halloween episode is in my spooky flooded swamp cemetery and keeps all my dead peoples :P

I started a desert village because of a build challenge with my buddy, NoDakSmack

Pretending my world is filled with real people who each have a house, job, etc., makes the world more immersive, but also gives me more build ideas than I can keep up with. I've been given even more ideas by the cool people who watch my videos. So, I decided to upload my world to a server so I can occasionally invite people to "move in" by claiming and decorating one of the houses I've built in livestreams. They place their name, move-in date, and career choice on a sign near the front door of their home. To keep track of it all, I decided to build a career center. I list all the occupation ideas and suggestions on signs attached to bookshelves in the career center. The Subscriber Occupation Book hangs on the wall and stores the move in date, name, and career of everyone who visits and claims a stake in the world. Finally, I placed each of them in the world with armor stands. It's added so much realism and immersion. The interaction has been an absolute blast and I have inspiration for ages!

woaw, you deserve way more attention. your projects, ideas are something I never saw before done here, also implementing subbers into eternal "craft" is something worth a standing ovation. I have seen cape rewards, and other whatsnot ideas to reward/appreciate subscribers, but this... this is famous! :)
