Not sure why, but this terrain gave me a lot of grief in its making right from its beginnings with WorldPainter to its rendering with Chunky. Just lag, hang ups, weird generation of materials that I had to correct with MCEdit and more.
Hopefully everything is corrected now, and the border between the custom map and the game's default generated terrain is successfully smoothed for a gentler transition. If not, please let me know. It's been a month that I have been tweaking this map and I really would like to make sure that everything is in proper order.
I do have a secret network of custom caves on the island for you to find, but I didn't decorate them as of yet. Not sure what exactly to do with them. Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated and considered.
This map is survival friendly if you wish to switch game modes.
Now for the very important part of credit to be given to all the tree packs I used for this terrain!

still, really cool job. I always have trouble making a jungle look like an actual jungle
But thank you. This is an issue I've had with jungle maps. I really wanted a dense forest, and one that didn't have all the same trees. This might be the reason this map had so many issues with lag and hangs during rendering and exportation. I listed the packs, but what I really did was hand pick individual trees from each of those packs. Then it was test, test, test, and re-test density and selection. There came a point where I had to let it go - otherwise I'd probably still be testing the trees.
