This is my submission for the Life On Mars Solo Build Contest.
I spent maybe an hour at most on this. Definatly not my best work but i wanted to put something into the compation.
Lore
The story behind the settlement on mars is that a non human life-form stopped on mars on there way to earth and the space station is a halfway stop but they encountered a problem and couldnt make it to earth so they settled down on mars until they found a way to get to earth.
Idea Behind the Build
I kind of went freelance on this build, i didn't really have an idea for a mars based build. I started by thinking of space things iv seen in movies and started to build the rocket flat form because they need something to obviously get on and off the planet. I then went on to build houses because they needed somewhere to stay, I couldn't come up with and idea for the inside of the houses so i left them blank. The idea behind the rocket silo was i thought if they left the rocket on the platform it would be subject to weather and eventual decay so that where i came up with the silo and as for the storage hanger that was obvious because they needed somewhere to store there equipment.
