Level 37 : Artisan Miner

My entry for the "To the Stars" project contest. Its supposed to be the genesis component of some massive spaceship which it is using to terraform earth (or perhaps destroy it?). The spaceship it's self is to will look like the ground because its gonna be so large so it might take some imagination when viewing.

I used Dukucraft light texture pack but i understand that if your judging this you may not have this texture pack but it looks pretty good just on default so its your choice what you use.

***I haven't been able to update this build because my old laptop's motherboard died on me. Ive had to get a new one, however im going to leave this build as it is (since im so close to my AS Level exams now).***

Well it made you want to come and look at this build didnt it? I mean you even made a comment on it no matter what it was, you still commented ;) The point of the picture is to grab people in, and present them a cool picture that makes the build look more flared up. It shows he put a lot of work into his presentation. That is all that matters :D

But the website is called PlanetMinecraft, not PlanetPhotoshop. People who make awesome builds and don't know how to blur and key out the sky get little attention. Personally I think it would be better to make editted pictures against the rules. That would make it more fair for everyone, while people could still choose which texturepack they want.
Also: You sound like Cartman in the southpark episode where he becomes a teacher, and learns children how to cheat.

O_o no need to get defensive.. All great builders use photo editing programs ;) Look at AlecDent, Aurelien_sama, GeneralJohn, AAmdahi, Umigra, TheLastGhost06... I can go on and on and on, but I assure you they have and DO use programs for builds. And it shows perfect effort in presentations. Calm down, just an opinion, but apparently if he has a ton of views, downloads, diamonds, and favorites, that photo editing system worked 100 % ;)

I am done giving MY opinion, and I will give this guy my diamond and full support! Great work :D Guaranteed at the end he will be the winner ;) Wait and see.

He does have a point. People want to see the build, not a bunch of Photoshop effects. And for that matter this submission does use gratuitous amounts of said effects.

At least one picture of the build without all these effects getting in the way would be nice.

Well that's exactly where I think you are hypocritical. I am just giving my opinion too, you see. And these great builders you mention, are all good. But theres hundreds of builders you did not mention. Those are the ones who get less attention because of their lack of photoshop skills. But I guess I will just have to live with the fact that some people just don't have the capicity to judge builds on their own opinion. Some just say "oooh shiny!", while others like anything a famous persons craps out. Just my opinion though, go ahead and diamond whatever you want.
