This is the town of Rosewind. From the jade trees of Bardur, ever-ageless, a single seed fell down the mountain into the basin that Rosewind now resides in. The seed takes in all the water during the rainy season, drying even the falls that feed the basin. Something about the basin itself turned the lime tree seed rose-colored, as it did with all the stone nearby, bleaching them in warmth. The town itself lies along the trade roads from Bardur to the Jekandor Passage. As such, it has its own market, from all over trade comes through its shallows.
