Major Update! - 13/09/2020
After months of hard work and dedication, the White House has finally had a massive refurbishment, on the inside and out. Thanks to Blagoveshchensk, this project has undertaken numerous changes to make it, as we believe, the most accurate build of the White House in Minecraft. When I first 'recreated' this build, I made many mistakes on the exterior. However, one thing I did right was accidentally building the structure in exactly 2:1. Not sure how I did this, but it made it a hell of a lot easier to correct everything I did wrong. If you wish to visit the build please visit the Visionary Creative server and do /warp TheWhiteHouse. Here are some of the many, many updates this build has gone through :
- Redesign of the South Portico
- Reshape of the North Portico Roof
- Complete interior (minus the East Wing and parts of the West Wing. Some rooms in the Residence have not been fully furnished but the interior is there.
- Complete restructure of the West Wing (thanks to Luuk_Bryan) (East Wing will be done)
- Rebuild of the North and South roads leading up to the porticos
- Redesign of the West Wing Gardens, Rose Garden and Kennedy Garden
- The addition of streetlights, trees and numerous smaller details on the roads surrounding the build.

Note : This build has been reconstructed using images from the Obama Presidency. Therefore, additions by the Trump family have been ignored, including the changes to the Rose Garden in 2020.
So obviously you guys know what this is.
This project is possibly the most accurate build I've ever created over a span of fewer than three months. Although it has no scale, I used numerous sources and details to make sure this can be as accurate as I can get it. This build primarily focuses on the surrounding White House grounds leading up to the main roads surrounding the south, east and west sides of the building. I actually did have plans to build the Capitol and Washington Monument - but that never happened.
No, I'm not putting an orange mannequin and saying it's Donald Trump. I'd love to, but no.
I just want to take a minute to thank every single one of you for the tremendous amount of support I have received over the past 4 years on this beautiful game. It's had ups and downs (the shutting down of both IAS and IBC in the space of a year), but I've also had a lot of fun playing it. I want to thank the IAS / IBC community for their support in the short-lived server, and for being possibly the funniest, and darkest community I've ever been a part of.
Over the years I have grown as a builder on Minecraft. My first build was a small, (default texture pack, ew) basic 'ship', if you dare to call it so. I have tried many styles of building, including traditional, modern, vehicles, and other.. stuff. Yet, I don't believe any of it touches the intricate detail and focus of my most recent builds. Murren - a Swiss Chalet, was the fourth Swiss cottage I built fully, yet I started (and abandoned) many. My Walmart wasn't as hard to build. I took inspiration from Walmarts built in Minecraft, among real-life images. The idea to create the White House spans back to the days of Infinite Architects Society, where I planned to build what would later become the awful build 'White House II', then the White House that managed to be deleted after the quick death of IAS, and then this - the biggest build I have ever made.
Credit goes to Omardegante (Twitter) for the fabulous renders, Hawk for a few small roads in the build, and others who helped with small jobs around the build, Blago for leading the huge renovations across the whole build, and Luuk_Bryan for the rebuild of the West Wing.

Finally an update on the White House!
- Repaired and corrected the south lawn driveway to be at the correct angles and widths.
- Repaired a majority trees throughout the south lawn. (due to a resource pack change, a lot of the build has to be updated)
Lots more to do in order to fit it into our Washington D.C. project but we're getting there!

It was a custom resource pack for my server, but it was mainly based off from FlowsHD. :)
