It's 1865 in Trestia, a small, lone town in the deserts of what would later be known as Arizona, thirsty for a drop of adventure... the summer plagues the town, drying even the occasional dew that sits on the rocks that dot the desert town... One day, riding on his trusty steed, Avalanche, a prospector who struck it rich in the Colorado Gold Rush wanders into town. The townspeople rush inside their homes, expecting this to be another one of the area's bandits. The Sherrif, doing his job, rides atop his horse, confronting the stranger at the edge of Trestia...
"What's yer name, varmit?" The Sherrif asks.
"The name's Zeus. I heard y'all lack fun and adventure. I can fix that." The stranger responded.
Startled, the townspeople slowly walk out of their homes to see that this was, indeed, the rich millionaire from Colorado.
"Y-You can make an adventure for us?" The scared Innkeeper asks.
"Yes sir-ee." Zeus replys.
"And how'll ya do that, pardner?" A storekeeper questions.
"Y'all ever heard of a roller coaster?" Zeus said, smirking.
FIVE MONTHS LATER
Winter begins to approach the deserts, as temperatures begin to cool. Watering holes begin to fill from snowmelt rushing in from the Rockies which allowed Zeus to be the man he is today. The last rail is placed on the roller coaster. A buzz is looming over the townspeople, each of them exited for their first ride on a roller coaster.
"This here coaster'll take ya t' speeds y'all never thought possible." Zeus said, smiling. "Hold on tight, scream as loud as 'ya can, enjoy the views, and don't fall off."
The townspeople cheer in exitement.
"Hold on there, son." The Farmer says. "This coaster's named 'Indian Peaks'. It's our coaster."
The towns people nod in agreement, and begin to whisper to themselves.
"It's 'cause this here runs through Indian territory. Y'all know how defensive they are. I made an agreement with 'em, and they'll let it run through if we give 'em credit." Zeus answered.
"Fair enough." The farmer says.
"Now, y'all ready for the time of yer lives?!" Zeus yells.
That, is the story of the Indian Peaks Roller Coaster. Trestia now sits in the Arizona desert, abandoned, as bandits chased the townspeople away. The roller coaster, however, still works today. Miraculously, the desert sand preserved the metal used in the coaster, and most of the buildings still stand. You have been wandering the desert, and you came across this abandoned gem. Now's your chance to take a ride. Swoop over 50 blocks high, loop over an old Western fort, and dive along Indian Tipis. (That Indians still live in!) Feel free to wander the old streets of Trestia, and even ride an old Ferris Wheel also put in by Zeus.
