CactiPvP:
CactiPvP is a PvP Factions server that utilizes McMMO, a very popular plugin. The server is new and still updating constantly but the staff is experienced. The staff has been through many different faction PvP servers and this server is end result of much balancing and tweaking. McMMO has been nerfed combat-wise to keep PvP more skill-based. There is also a twist to the server. Throughout the main world, there are custom dungeons that can be visited for loot. As of now, there are only mini-dungeons, but as the server progresses, new and bigger projects will be created. We hope to create an active community and we, the staff, are dedicated to making the player's experience on the server an enjoyable and memorable one.
McMMO:
The level cap for all McMMO levels are at 1000. PvP skills have been nerfed slightly, with popular aspects such as Axe's armor breaking and Unarmed's disarming nerfed heavily in order to prevent them from changing Vanilla PvP too much. On the other hand, all resource gathering skills have been buffed in order to encourage people to get supplies by themselves, as well as prepare for battles faster and more efficiently.
Factions:
Players can create or join factions in order to get a competitive edge on people. Each person has 10 "power" or essentially 10 claims of land. On this server, you will regenerate 1 "power" every minute! However, you will lose 5 power upon dying as the tradeoff for the quick regeneration.
Obsidian Destroyer:
Obsidian will blow up upon getting hit 10 times with TnT. Enchantment tables last for 20 hits. Ender chests for 15 hits. No longer will people remain in their safe obsidian bases!
Mob Arena:
Mob Arena is the largest mini-game on the server and is heavily customized. The arena is large as to have over 30 different mob spawn points and camping is nearly impossible. There are currently a total of 16 different customized classes to pick from such as the axe-wielding wolf tamer, Fenrir Knight, and the armored medic ArchAngel. The arena itself is a nether theme with a giant nether dragon in the middle, and has been customized to a total of 80 waves, with a unique boss on the 10th, 20th, 30th, and so on wave. The rewards are purely diamonds and emeralds, so this mini-game is some SERIOUS business.
Custom Dungeons:
The special aspect about this server is the custom dungeons that are located randomly in the wilderness. Inspired by MineZ, players, while searching for other faction bases, may stumble upon warzone claimed "dungeons." These places contain many custom mobs of varying difficulties and often require either puzzle solving or strategic planning in order to loot the many chests that respawn in the dungeon. The loot can range from iron ingots, arrows, and gold ingots to diamond blocks, TnT, obsidian blocks, and other goodies! New dungeons are build by hand by staff every now and then, so be sure to keep yourself updated!
