Jack Sparrow (played by Johnny Depp) is a pirate who lives his life at sea, and first became a captain when he defeated Salazar. Pirates of the Caribbean is a movie series with 5 installments, but more installments are expected in the future. Jack Sparrow is the protagonist in the series and he is captain of the Black Pearl. Jack Sparrow first appears in Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the black pearl, but since he's the protagonist, He appears in the sequels,Dead man's Chest, At world's End, On stranger tides and Dead men tell no tales. Sparrow is one of the nine pirate lords.He can be treacherous, and manages to survive dangerous situations using his wit, and only fights if absolutely necessary. in the first movie, Jack Sparrow has to regain his ship from Hector Barbossa. Then he attempts to escape his blood debt to Davy Johns while fighting East India Trading company. Jack Sparrow's Role kept expanding as the movies progressed. The Pirates of the Caribbean movie series was inspired by a disney park ride of the same name, and when the ride was revamped in 2006, He was added to it. Jack Sparrow also headlined the Legend of Captain Jack sparrow attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and is subject of Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack Sparrow, which tells his stories when he was a teen.
