In the heart of the old wood the kingdom of the fox grew in prosperity. The kingdoms enemy, the great wise tree of old was back to plotting the the downfall of the kingdom of the fox. The kingdom of the fox used to be a group of humans colonizing the the old wood, so the tree cursed them for not respecting nature. Their curse was that they and their dissidence would forever roam as a hideous half fox-half man beast! Scratch that, as an adorable half fox-half man beast. But the fox people did not realize the reason of their curse and continued to chop-up the forest to make room for there great city.
The fox druids are the foxes that abandoned the the ways of their people and choose nature of the way of society. They serve the old tree, and value nature over materiel wealth. Some their curses lifted by the old tree but most prefer to be "one with nature." The knife the carry is made of the solidified tears of the old, and upon striking one with it, the victim (mostly people who litter or lumberjacks) is flooded with a sea of thoughts and is driven insane. They are known as the 'broken ones" and serve the old tree like a slave (the old tree really does not want people messing with her forest so please don't).
