This is a yukata kimono (summer festival kimono) I made for July. The color combination I've used is called "soubi" and as far as I can understand that means roses (https://wafuku.wordpress.com/2011/05/15/japanese-colour-names-seasonal-combinations/). The pattern is abstract. The collar isn't very obvious because all kimono's collar are made with the same fabric so it doesn't stand out, and with yukata you wouldn't wear an additional collar (that could be a different color) underneath.
The obi is wrapped in a fairly plain bunko musubi and going with the casual style and summer heat she doesn't have tabi socks and she's wearing wooden geta (shoes).
The hair is done in the traditional shimada hairstyle but I only put some kanzashi (hair decorations) in it, so as not to go over the top.
Kimonos are a hobby of mine and I hope I've gotten the details right. The collar is folded with the left side overlapping the right (as it should). and the back of the collar is pulled down to reveal the nape of the neck. I even went so far as to try and place the pattern of the kimono so as it would actually locate itself it the fabric was sewn, although this of course depends on how you picture the shoulder fold (there is no seam).
