thanks though all i did for the creepers was pull up the vanilla textures of those blocks in the reference tool on PMC and hand-copy each pixel/dropper the colors. it took forever and was a pain, but they ended up looking good. once you finish the first textures on the head since its the like size of a block you can use the clone tool and just stamp it on the other parts, though I intentionally lined things up so they'd blend more with the surroundings. Also I did the deep slate texture first and then brought in the deepslate diamond texture afterwards. made things easier.
