i unzipped the folder for the elytra but for some reason its still not showing up in my resource packs

try checking the folder to see if unzipping it has duped it, sometimes unzipping something will give it an extra folder. If you open the pack folder and you see the same folder instead of assets, icon and pack.mcmeta, move the folder out to the resource pack folder and it should show up. If not, grab a pack.mcmeta file from another working pack and replace it.

nice but unless im doing something wrong the resource pack isnt showing up in the resource packs list, might be something to do with the files

Did you try unzipping the folder?
