Y'know, I was thinking this'd just be yet another NES sprite compilation, and my inner graphic arts expert was thinking, "Y'know, I bet they didn't even use the NES palette for it." Color me surprised when I found out what it really was. :P

Limited color palettes are such an overlooked component of replicated game art styles. Glad to see some people still know about them. :)

I've actually toyed around with the idea of doing a 16 color CGA texture pack. Though with unique art--just using the CGA color palette to resemble old DOS games.
