Welcome!


This resource pack takes the new textures from Minecraft (1.14+) into your 1.8.9 game! No longer will you have to suffer when playing on a server or modded survival world, as all of the textures have been revamped to look up-to-date.

UPDATED TEXTURES:
- All blocks
- All items
- All entities
- Environment (sky, sun, moon, etc.)
- Water
- Foliage
- Title Screen

I hope you all enjoy this pack, as it took many hours to accomplish. The old formatting in 1.8.9 is different than 1.14+, so a lot of names needed to be changed by hand. If there are any bugs or things I missed, please FEEL FREE to let me know. I accept all criticism. Anyway, thanks!

Thank you so much! I wanted to try 1.8.9 because people won't stop suggesting it to me on Hypixel... But I started playing the game after 1.14 was released, so it's hard for me to enjoy the old textures!

My friend had the same issue on the first download, sometimes when you open the .zip file after not everything has been downloaded it can leave out most of the textures. Maybe try one of the following:

- re-downloading the pack
- waiting a few seconds after the download is complete to expand the .zip file
- actually expand the .zip file and place the pack in the "resourcepacks" folder
- play on 1.8.9 or earlier

Because most people play 1.8.9 for PvP purposes. Anything before or after (with the old textures) isn't that popular.

Btw the texture pack should work on all older versions
