While messing around in my SSP world, I've been thinking of what I can do for content on PlanetMinecraft. I came up with quite a few ideas that you will see later after I post them. (subscribe!) One of my ideas was to start a building series. So here it is! This is the first tutorial of the series. In this tutorial I will show you how to make a VintageBeef inspired starter house, with a modern look. Hopefully you enjoy! If you would like to get a closer look at the build, there is a world download --> click here! Please tell me what you think by leaving a comment. If you want to support me and this series, favorite it and leave a diamond. It will be greatly appreciated. Also make sure to check out my profile to see all the amazing things I've been doing. I'm sure you will find something you like!
Before we start I would like to apalogize for the formatting, I know it may bother you that the images are different sizes. I will try to get the formatting for this tutorial all worked out later.
Step #1
So to start off we are gonna want to make a basic out line of the house. Make a 9x9 square like the one below.
Step #2
Now that we have that done. Lets get a doorway started!
Step #3
Then we will want to start getting the front built. Starting with the bottom window.
Step #4
lets put a half slab overhang!
Step #5
Now lets start on the top windows.
Step #6
Fill in the windows with grey stained glass panes.
Step #7
We can now start on the right side of the house.
Step #8
Now lets do another overhang. (pig is optional :P)
Step #9
Now copy that same pattern up top.
Step #10
Lets get started on the back wall now. As you can see below, we continue with the grey panes and the overhand wraps around.
Step #11
do the left side of the house now. Very simple!
Step #12
To finish off the outside of the house, lets put on the roof. Notice how it also overhangs by one block.
Step #13
We should probably start the inside now. First thing we shall do is put in a floor. So the floor doesnt blend in with the walls as much, Lets us oak planks for the floor instead of birch.
Step #14
We can now put in the second floor. On the top half of the birch planks, put birch plank half slabs going across. Leave a one block gap before the window though.
Step #15
You many ask why the gap? In my opinion it looks weird without it. instead I put a little wall.
Step #16
Will now need a ladder going up, and a door.
Step #17
Time to start on the walk way and garage!
The Half slabs are for the door, to look like its almost open. I also cover the ceiling 4 blocks in with slabs for the part of the door thats already up.
YAY! you are now finished! If you liked this tutorial please leave a diamond and make sure to take a look at my profile, subscribe if you like what you see there.
