The two monsters are creeping up on the unknowing and focused miner. Steve heard noises, no footsteps, just groaning and another noise sounding like a sharper hiss of a snake. Steve didn't turn around, he stopped at times, but the noises stopped whenever he did.

He could feel the hairs on the back of his neck rise as it felt like someone was breathing down his neck. Steve put his hand into his pocket to reach for something that would come in handy for his “friends” who were haunting him again.
Steve whirled around, heaving the garbage bag out of his pocket and pulling it over the head of a shocked zombie while kicking the paralysed spider off the ledge and into the lava.

Pulling his sword out of his pocket, Steve smiled at the victory, quickly pulling the bag off of the writhing zombie and keeping him down with his foot. He looked at his sword, the zombie not even putting up a fight, knowing that Steve was going to end him and with a swift slash of his sword. Steve only hacked halfway into the zombie’s neck, quickly getting frustrated that the thickness of this zombies head had ruined his victorious moment, he continued to hack at it until he was all the way through.

Steve nailed the head to the wall to show his victory, smiling and continuing to mine ores for weapons to help him with the days to come.
