These mods are the ones that are on Feed the Beast Monster by default, this is as of 19/12/15
As with any mod pack, you can edit, enable, disable or add what ever mods you wish. Customise until your hearts content!

Seeming as this modpack contains SO MANY different mods, I'm going to go over some of my personal favourites!

Tinkers Construct
Tinkers construct is the first technical mod that I learned how you use, I love this mod and personally in my opinion, it's one of the better mods out there.
This mod adds many new ways to make tools and brand new tools and weapons. My favourite thing in this mod is probably the new way they make crafting tables, when you craft a crafting table (4 wood planks) you can place that crafting table back in the 4x4 crafting table in your inventory to make a work bench.  This is exactly the same as a crafting table, but things don't come spewing out if you accidently hit escape or if you leave your stone in your chest to make a furnace.
Tinkers construct should be installed with the following mods:

Tinkers' construct
Tinkers' Mechwork

Twilight Forest
Twilight forest is another one of my favourites, I don't know the full extent of what it can do as it is such an Amazing
mod! Basically, it adds a bunch of new items and a whole NEW dimension, never seen prior to this mod.  To make a portal, you make a 2x2 square and fill it with water source blocks, then you surround it in ANY flowers you wish (has mod support for botania) then you drop a diamond in (yes, it's a diamond... But it's really worth it!) then it shoots some lightning down and Hey Presto! You have a portal.
If you are early on in game and have only just aquired diamonds then make sure you armour up, as the world is dangerous and there are many mobs that kill you.
To be perfectly honest, when you get into the twilight forest you have pretty much got infinite ores. There are hills there and in some (not many) of them, there is a giant vein of ores. There are very many diamonds there too.. And they're in larger veins than normal. Playing in peaceful ruins the fun of it and it ruins the danger. So this is a really boring mod if you aren't in at least "Easy" mode.

Myst Craft
Myst Craft is a very well known mod in Feed the Beast Monster. It adds hole new dimensions. But in the wrong hands, it's dangerous.
Heres a couple of tips for the game:
1) Before you go into a new dimension, make an "unlinked link book" and link it to your base/home. If you do not, then you will not be able to return to the overworld, no matter what you do
2) Like the Twilight Forest you will need to armour up. But DO NOT use expencive armour as some worlds are so dangerous they will blow you up in an instant... "BOOM"
3) DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES take ANY valubles. The worlds are unstable and a lot of them decay, spawning lava everywhere (even above, which means it will fall on top of you). If you're in one of these worlds, use your link book straight away as it WILL kill you
4) Don't move until the world has loaded. Linking to the previous tips, the worlds are unstable and if you move off the cobblestone spawning platform, you may fall. So when you generate a new world, look up to check there isn't any lava, then just click "E" (or whatever inventory button there is) and just wait it out, wait untill your world/dimension has loaded before you go exploring.

I hope this mod pack review helped
