Hello there I'm Doompickles. I recently joined the site about a month ago after lurking for a while. I've posted a little bit on the forums and I want to make use of the other features on the site starting with this blog. I like blogging and I might make use of it but I'm not sure yet. I don't want to blog for the sake of blogging of course and only when there is something relevant to talk about. In fact there may not be another blog post for some time, and this is sort of an intro type thing and testing stuff out. :)
When It comes to minecraft I have been playing for over 2 years starting around the time of beta. I like the surviving and exploring of the game, but recently I've tried my hand at building a little bit more. I am uploading videos to youtube but am going along unnoticed at the moment. I do it for my own enjoyment really as a fun hobby, but a few more views would be nice. I would love to have a bit of interaction with people. I would also like to be more involved in the community but I'm not sure what I can offer. I tried making maps before but it takes up a lot of time to make a great map and I'm not savvy with redstone to implement some of the stuff I wanted to do. Time is the annoying thing and I don't have a lot of it to work on a project, but I want to try putting some time aside to create things I want to make.
**For some reason it was forcing me to "upload at least 1 image" which I guess is a bug because image upload is an optional option. :/
