Ya sure 1.8 came out and all. But why did it come so late in the first place? Becuse they where fixings the bugs. Well, as you could see in the 1.8 it is still exstremly buggy. It did not work whatever you tried with the bugs Notch if you are reading this. Plus the 1.8 servers are EVEN MORE laggy and it always frezzes up. Please put you opinion on this update in the commets.

Once they've dealt with the bugs to keep the creative and survivalist singleplayers happy, they'll tend to the lag. In the mean time, have you tried reducing the graphics and render distance?
if ur giving me the way to get rid of that i will never do it.
