You're probrally here because you just got accepted to become an admin on your favourite Minecraft server, or you feel as if you're not doing a very good job as an admin. So fear not, I TinyToes16 shall help you! I've had A LOT of experience as an admin on many servers so I think I can help you guys out! So let's get started!
1. On your application do NOT lie.
Honestly... This will just ruin everything, because if you forgot that you lied about your age on your app a year ago and you slip out your real age/ you've been 14 for 3 years now, the owner might get just a bit suspicious.
2. ENFORCE THE RULES!
That's why the owner hired you! To inforce the rules! Admins aren't just there to sit and look pretty believe it or not!
3. Be fair!
Don't you just hate it when someone the admin knows irl or on another server logs on and then all of a sudden they have full diamond armour, and the full set of diamond tools? Also to make it even worse when they type something in chat their rank, that used to be guest is all of a sudden.... VIP+.... Seeing this makes you extremley angry because you've been a loyal player ever since the server first started and you earned that rank VIP+! You might even say something along the lines of,
"But that's not fair!"
Yeah.. I think you get my point.
4. Don't abuse your powers.
It really sucks being /kill ed by an admin, just don't do it.
5. Be friendly!
You definitely want to be friendly because that's what keeps the players coming back, but still be fair!
