How do you make a mod for imac?

I am looking for a mod maker for imac.
I have never maked mods before and I dont know anything about to make them.
I have found out that mods is gold on PlanetMineCraft.
I think it have to be easy, but a little bit complicated too.
I know my imac good so you can tell me most of all.
If you know a mod maker, please report to me :)

I'm a mod maker. You make mods by changing/adding to the code of minecraft. If you are referring to a program that will do this for you, I don't know of any, nor would I recommend any. If you do find one, please do not post any of the mods you 'make' on PMC. They require no effort to make and bring down the quality of content on PMC.

If you seriously want to make mods, download eclipse and learn java.Then you'll need to get the MCP to decompile minecraft. Then modify the code however you want it, compile it, run the scripts included in the MCP and then upload to PMC, MCForums. Happy Coding.

It will allow you to post to PMC, I just wouldn't recommend it, because it takes away from the hard work people do to write their own mods.
