Here Is How To Make A Vanilla Server On A Mac!

In Words

1.Make A Folder On Desktop Call it what ever you want

2.Follow this link and download minecraft_server.jar at the bottom of the page where it says minecraft_server.jar`

http://www.minecraft.net/download

3.drag minecraft_server.jar in your folder

4.Open this up wait till it loads everything then type stop into it.

5.It should of made a few files open up the one called server.properties (default should be text edit) and keep that open...

6.Then open up System preferences found in the apple in the corner of the screen and select network then click advanced and select TCP/IP there should be your ip

7.copy and paste the ip into the front of where it says server-ip= in server properties

8.Run minecraft_server.jar

9.And you can connect by typing your ip into servers

10.Edit server.properties to your liking true = on false = off! rememember

When A Update of minecraft comes out all you have to do it replace the minecraft_server.jar

Im doing the video as you read this.

Consider Donating so I can post more and maybe eventually make a server!

Yes this does work!

And Its roughly the same idea for pc

But instead

Replace minecraft_server.jar with minecraft_server.exe for windows

To find your ip (Im basing this on memory)

type Run into search bar (Vista+) then into that ipconfig and your ip should come up

Simple

Yes Ok

1) Make sure you have the correct ip first if you have the wrong ip it says that

2) If it still does not work wait for your ip to change it should unless you have set it to static.

3) Reply if these don't work
