So basically my characters that I had made, the ones with gray skin and horns,[hs ocs] were spread out in several different worlds, all connected through these inter-dimensional highways called shadow paths, these shadow paths could be traveled if you entered the area they are in by following a strong enough being that can open them, your soul enters the paths and you reunite with your body once you enter a universe, your soul color reflects your blood. It begins in a white room, a heavily accented voice speaks, "You have been created with a purpose." With a flash of light, you are in a clearing under a lone tree on a hill. A scream echoes in the distance, you dash to see what it is. There is a pool of burgundy blood around a young trolls body, someone is looming over the body, they quickly disappear into one of the shadow paths, I approach the body, seeing if they are still alive. They are not. You hear someone ask from behind you, "Did you do this?" you reply, "No, I didn't, I found him like this", You turn around to see..
